There is a certain comfort in these mundane preparations, though I cannot help but wonder at the status of certain other projects of mine, as well. Clearly there is nothing yet to report, and it was understood from the start that this would be a long, involved affair -- but all the same.
I depend more on the actions of others than I would like. There is little to be done for that when you can hardly move freely, yourself, but knowing that does not always make it easier to abide.
